Insanely adorable and rare 1940's/50's polkadot swimsuit/playsuit. Sweetheart neckline with smocking down front and back, delicate pleated cups with ruffled trim, cutest little skirt with hidden bloomers underneath. Can be worn strapless or as a halter. Made of cotton, super comfortable, perfect playsuit for romping around in all summer. In very good condition for age: little repair on side of strap and a buttonhole that was added by original owner by hand to shorten strap. One tiny yellow paint mark on skirt and a bit of fading at black part of bust, one pin hole on ruffle. The shirring is the tiniest bit worn out but still has plenty of stretch. Nothing that detracts in the slightest. Tag size 36 and I'd say fits true to Medium. Has a good amount of stretch and has to be pulled on over hips, 39" hip max.
